R&R People+Culture: I Love The 90s

I'm always amazed at the stuff I find whenever I purge my closet and my room, as I have been trying to do for the last few months in an attempt to get a head start on my annual top-of-the-year resolution to become more organized. A few weeks ago during this current purge, I pulled out a box of old middle and high school stuff and as I was looking through everything, I realized that I have of course come a LONG way. Reading some of my old journals and diaries was hilarious mostly and sometimes embarrassing. I highly recommend pulling out your yearbooks, journals, or anything from your teenage years and reading them from time to time to give yourself some perspective on how far you've come and how far you have to go. Of all of the artifacts that I came across from my teenage years, one thing that really stood out was a list of some of my favorite songs from high school. I've always had an ear for eclectic music and I found myself having to download a few of these songs from iTunes for the sake of reminiscing. The 90s was an era of GREAT music not yet matched by a lot of these millennium artists. Here are ten of my throwbacks:
